2019 Alturas Real Estate Fund Annual Investor Meeting 9/20

The Alturas Real Estate Fund Annual Investor Meeting is one of the highlights of the year for us; an opportunity to meet with our investors face-to-face and to get to know them on a more personal level. The event was well attended and included a full schedule of activities.
Friday started out with an informal breakfast with the investors and Alturas team members.
The formal meeting and presentation took place in downtown Boise in the Inspire Studio at Jack’s Urban Meeting Place (JUMP). We started with a catered lunch, followed by the annual meeting presentation by key members of the Fund’s management team - Blake Hansen, Travis Barney, Ben Johnson, and Devin Morris.
Discussion points included the following:
- An overview of the Fund’s performance
- An outline of our Tenant Value Creation System
- A presentation from one of our tenants - Marcia Houston of The NEST
- A review of the Fund’s current portfolio
- An overview of the Fund’s overall Strategy and Structure
- Question & Answer session
A highlight of this year’s meeting was special guest, Marcia Houston, the owner of a business that leases space from Alturas in the Eagle Marketplace property. Ms. Houston provided investors with insights about how Alturas creates long-term partnerships with tenants.
Following the Question & Answer session, we boarded a chartered bus for a guided tour of Boise, the Alturas office, and some of the Fund’s local properties.
The tour finished back downtown at the Adelmann Building (one of the Fund’s properties) for dinner at the Boise Fry Company.
Friday’s schedule wrapped up with the Boise State University football game on the blue turf (a victory) vs. the Air Force Academy.
Saturday’s highlight event was an early morning chartered flight to Sulphur Creek Ranch - part of the Frank Church Wilderness area where we had breakfast, and took part in some light hiking and relaxed conversation. On the flight back, our pilots took us through the towering peaks of the Sawtooth Mountains for some incredible views.
