Eagle Marketplace Unveils New Look

Written by Travis Barney | June 9, 2016

One of the busiest intersections in the Treasure Valley is getting a face lift. Chances are you’ve driven by Eagle Marketplace on the northeast corner of Eagle Road and Chinden Boulevard. Over 70,000 vehicles pass by the 60,000 square-foot retail center on a daily basis. But if you don’t quite remember it, you’re not alone. This prime property—the key entrance to Eagle City—has often been overlooked.

Last year, Eagle-based Alturas Capital bought the neglected, lender-owned property and launched a plan to re-imagine its potential. Now, the results of this extensive renovation will soon be open—and visible—to the public.

Think curb appeal. A massive landscaping enhancement project lowered berms and eliminated fencing for improved visibility, while replacing overgrown, unhealthy plants with fresh, eye-catching foliage. Then, we looked for a sign of the times, literally. Two beautiful, multi-tenant signs—one reaching 25 feet and one 28 feet tall, both featuring state of the art Electronic Message Centers—will be installed on Eagle and Chinden respectively in the next few weeks. The signs are the most high-end, high-resolution available today, perfectly befitting this high-end location.

This improved signage project extends to the storefronts too. New monument signage will be put in place for Key Bank—and new tenant signage on store fronts will soon follow.

Three new tenants are also moving in: Family Pool & Spa, Natural Foot Spa, and high-end furniture retailer, The Nest—all ideally suited for the affluent, fast-growing Meridian and Eagle area. Current tenants include Key Bank, Eagle Fitness, Sakura Sushi, Fiesta Guadalajara, 3 Girls Catering, The Little Gym, Brain Balance, Studio Salon, Star Nails, and State Farm.

Access to the Eagle Marketplace is also being streamlined. So next time you’re just passing by, stop in instead. See the exciting new changes – and check out the amazing new (and existing) tenants – for yourself.
